What are my Login details?

You will use two different logins to access library resources.  

  What do you want to do?
  • View loans, requests, fees, or borrowing history
  • Renew loans
  • Place a request or booking for physical library items

Use My Account details from the Library 

[Login screen will have La Trobe logo]

Search or view electronic resources such as

  • eBooks
  • online videos
  • online articles 
  • library databases

Use your Wodonga TAFE network username (email format) and password

[Login screen will have Wodonga TAFE logo]

Search for standards via the Techstreet database You will need to create your own account to access Techstreet. For instructions see Find Standards

Wodonga TAFE login

  Students

This is the network username and password issued to you when you enrol.  The same details are used for logging into a computer on campus or Moodle units.

Your network username and password is used to login to electronic library resources such as eBooks, online videos, online articles and library databases.  This includes e-resources from the library which may be linked inside your Moodle units.

When you are asked to login to access a Library eresource, enter your username in email address format eg. yourIDno@wodongatafe.edu.au. For example, enter username as 10012345@wodongatafe.edu.au

  Staff

This is the network username and password issued to you when you commence employment.  The same details are used for logging into a computer on campus or Moodle units.

Your network username and password is used to login to electronic library resources such as eBooks, online videos, online articles and library databases when you are off campus.  This includes e-resources from the library which may be linked inside your Moodle units. 

When you are asked to login to access a Library eresource through the OpenAthens system, enter your username in email address format eg. yourusername@wodongatafe.edu.au. For example, enter username as bgates@wodongatafe.edu.au

 

  I can't access a Library e-resource with my username and password

My Account login (only used for physical collections)

  Student My Account

This login applies to the shared La Trobe Library Search (to Find Books / DVDs in the Library) only.  You will need to select the "Other Borrowers" option.

User ID: Enter a small 't' followed by your student ID number eg t123456789

Password: Enter your student ID number followed by your Surname (begin with upper case, then use lower case)  eg 123456789Smith

Click on Submit

 

  Staff My Account

This login applies to the shared La Trobe Library Search (to Find Books / DVDs in the Library) only.  You will need to select the "Other Borrowers" option.

User ID: Enter a small 't' followed by your staff number from your ID card eg t01234  (There should be 5 digits after the 't'. Add a zero ('0') before your staff number if required)

Password: Enter your staff ID number followed by your Surname (begin with upper case, then use lower case)   eg 01234Smith

Click on Submit

 

  Changing My Account password

Passwords need to be changed every 12 months.

You can change your library password by signing in to My Account.  Choose Personal Settings, then Edit Details, then Update Login Credentials.

Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and include at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter and one number. 

If you have not changed your password in the last 12 months it will be removed from your record and you will need to contact the library to get a new password.

 

  What if I forget My Account Password?

If you forget your Password, the My Account login page has a Reset Password link you can click, then enter

  • your username (this is a small 't' followed by your Wodonga TAFE ID number), or
  • email (this will be the email you registered when joining the library)

Alternatively you can contact the library and ask for your Password to be reset.

Library staff cannot tell you what your Password is as it is encrypted in the system.
